AutoLoanWise is a free educational resource that helps people understand car financing and estimate what a loan will really cost.

Buying a car is one of the biggest purchases most people make, yet the financing is often the least understood part. Between price, down payment, trade-in, taxes, APR and term, small changes can swing your payment by a lot. We built this site to make that clear.

What we do

Our auto loan calculator uses standard amortization to estimate your monthly payment and total interest, and we publish plain-English guides explaining every part of car financing.
